Show Diary: ‘Til Two Club – September 17, 2023
We played one show in September: the ‘Til Two Club in San Diego with Diamond Hands. We were initially scheduled to play with Near Beer, but they had to drop out. Fortunately, Diamond Hands features Near Beer members, so we got to meet a couple of ’em.
The ‘Til Two Club could charitably be described as a punk rock dive, with dodgy live sound to match. My single coil guitars hummed loudly onstage, we had a hard time hearing our vocals at all through the monitors, and we had to turn our amps way down to accommodate the sonic environment.
We persevered through this and nevertheless played relatively o.k. Some of the audience members even complimented us after. All in all, not our best gig, not our worst.
